DRACO

The guildmaster's Dracosius's site.

Greetings traveler. Welcome to my home.
My name is Dracosius. I am the GuildMaster (GM) of the guild 'Draco'.
I founded it, designed it, and of course, lead it.
Draco is a role-play guild, where you become another character,
and play him or her all the way through adventures.

NEXT QUESTS:

"Orb of Orion." destroyed (updating draco)

"The Labyrinth." canceled (updating draco)

"Silver Light." canceled (updating draco)

"Tribax Temple." canceled (updating draco)

The first thing you do when joining, is create a character. To do this you must choose a race, a class, a diety if you want one, a sex, and then a name. Your character will then be saved by myself or an AGM (Apprentice Guildmaster) on one of the site's character pages. Your stats, as well as any weapons and items are saved on your character's details, so you dont restart from scratch every time, for each quest.

Once you have your character you can then book a place in upcomming quests which are shown on the site in advance. But its a first come, first sevre principle, so if you want a place you will have to be quick. Generally I only allow 5 or 6 people in a quest, but how many the other AGMs allow is up to them. Before the quest starts you will be asked what character you will be using. Then the GM or AGM, will give you your stats, and the url for the character page so you can all see the spells or skills you can use. Once the quest starts you will be described the surrounding area, and where abouts you and the other guild member's characters are. You will then be told what your quest is. The outcome of every event or risk, is told by the GM, with the help of a very advanced sytem... yeah right, or just a couple of different sided dice. Who knows! He will control battles, and tell you the outcome of your attack or spell. Every new place you go to, you will be given a description, and then it is up to you. All you have to do, once in the quest, is keep in character! (keep ic), and then have fun trying to complete the quest and level up along the way.

To use spells and skills that have higher level requirements, you are of course going ot need to go up levels. As you go up levels you will be able to use more spells and skills for your class and become more powerful. You also get 10 more max hp and mp for every level you go up. How do you go up level, are you asking? Well the most common way is to do a quest. You and the rest of the remaining group, go up one level when you are half way through a quest, and then another two levels once you have completed the quest. You can also get rewards when you finish the quest (or along the way), such as rare items, or special weapons or... I could go on for ever. You also can go up levels when you get enough exp too. Only the GM can give exp, so you would only get it in his quests. There isn't any specific exp system. You get some exp after every battle in one of GM's quests, or if you think of some key factor to do with completing the quest, or think of a good place to go next. You get as much exp as the GM wants to give you, which is as much as he thinks you deserve. And when the 'gauge' has been full up for the next level, you will see a '!LEVEL UP!'. This is just an extra way to level up, and you dont need to worry about it and shouldn't expect it. There is another way to level up also. This way is by far the easiest and quickest. And that is at a 'Tournament'. When you hear that their is a Tournament, it is as if you are five years old and you daddy has just told you that the circus is in town, and you have won tickets... as well as a life time supply of chocolate! In other words, it is a very very good thing, the few times that it does happen. Basically you fight other guild members that the GM tells you to (so you have a fair chance), and the winner gets put up levels. Every one there fights, and if any guild member survives it all they get put up a couple of levels and are awarded by the GM with something great. You may even be honoured, so your character becomes a master class, or upgrades it's class.

If you die in a Tournament, it doesn't matter. You can use your character again, but if you die in a quest, then that's your character dead for ever. That is unless you have someone in your group who is high enough to use a spell to revive you, and deosn't mind waisting their mana on you. But when you are put in that position, you kinda wish you were nicer to them and not so big headed. If you haven't got anyone in your group who can revive your character then that's it... that is unless they have the common sence and willing, to drag your lifeless corpse to the nearest cathedral and hope that a monk there will revive you. But the monk might want something in return, which could give you a whole new sub-quest (this is ussually the time I start praying for the quest to end soon, before i take my own life!). Did i mention that they have a nasty habbit of going on for hours upon hours upon hours? ...Well I have now.

As i said before to enter a quest, you will have to talk to who ever quest it is to get a place. You can also do your own privatte quest with an other guild member or two if you have an AGM who is willing to do one with you (or the GM). Your progress is then saved, and you can pick up where you left off the next time when you and your quest-partner are both on, if you have to leave before the quest is finished. But to do your own private quest you have to have a total of either two or three guild members in the quest. The quests take place in a private room created in yahoo chat. There is a full major quest at least once a week.

So can you wait to find out what rewards await the completion of your quest? Each quest your character completes will go on your character's record also!
